Dres: I found this extremely offensive. It does not matter what skin colour you are or what your sexuality is, you can be severely bullied, no matter what. I hate it when people think that just because you’re straight, white, and you look really lucky on the outside means that your life is perfect. Or that we don’t know what it’s like. Or that we haven’t been in the same situation. I have a big house, suddenly, I don’t know what it’s like to not have enough money? Fuck that, I know exactly what it’s like. In fact most of it is psychological, meaning that some white rich kid could actually be in MORE pain than a unfortunate black person who lives in the projects. <—- (WHICH IS EXTREMELY STEREOTYPICAL) I’ve been saying this for a long time, and I’ll say it again. Your skin colour or sexuality does not define who you are, what you’re background is, and how much pain you’re in. So, to the dude talking in this video? You should shut your mouth because ANYBODY can write a song about something they’ve been through, don’t ever think that you’re “better” because you think you can tell somebody what they’ve been through.
